We attended Stadium Of Fire at BYU for the 1st time. It was truly amazing! I'm not a huge country fan, but I do love me some Carrie Underwood and she ROCKED.
My favorite part was not the concert or the fireworks, although both were incredible. It was when the Vets took turns standing up from the rest of the enormous crowd and honored their specific military branch they had served in. You could feel the patriotism in the stadium and I cried like a baby watching the young and old stand for their country.
Thank you to all of those men and women who have served for our country, and kept our home a place for FREEDOM.
I didn't know that Millie knew The Pledge Of Allegiance. I am so sad I didn't get all of it recorded. It was adorable.

The kiddos were darling. Cousin Sherry brought them all glow brackets and it was a HUGE hit. I don't think we would have survived the night without them. Sherry also made Millie's darling headband! Cute Ellie had a matching one as well, aren't they the cutest!

Only the cutest kids EVER! Love all of them so much. Such a fun night....thanks for being there!!
Darling headbands. Sounds like a wonderful day I'm with you on the military standing. That is awesome.
Thank you to Miss Patti and any other teachers that have the kids say the pledge of allegiance at the beginning of class.9 yrs ago I remember hearing Cyndell repeat the pledge for the first time. I remember how proud I was and how grateful I was that it is still taught in some schools.
That Millie is absolutely positively adorable.
Hi from Jim Davis's mom. I hope you don't mind my peeking in to see how you and the family are doing. Jim put a link to your blog on his blog. Seeing you with big smiles on your faces in spite of the horrific year(s) you've had, helps me know that we, too, can be happy, even when Jakers is sick. Thanks. We love you.
