Unfinished Business

On one of our last walks through Oxford I took a couple pictures of some of the things I saw daily and will miss. I loved living in England, but now that I'm gone I realize how much I truly do love it. I miss it so much. I miss my friends, our tiny flat, I miss walking to the store to get groceries, I miss riding the bus to church (I thought I'd NEVER miss that!), I miss our weekend get-aways to who knows where, I miss the rain, I miss how green it was all the time, I miss riding the train into London, I miss leaving for the airport at 4:00 am to save money on a cheap flight into a new country, I miss yummy Indian food, and Nandos chicken, I miss daily walks to the park with Millie, I miss seeing Brady get excited about his next project, I miss the history of Oxford. What an amazing time.

Well here are just a few of the pictures I took on our last walk.

I have been home three weeks and yet this is what seems "normal". It's almost like that other life didn't even happen. As I look back on this past experience I realized how short life really is.
We really do need to make the best of it!

It makes me sad to see your pics of your last walk. I miss England and I only satyed there a week, I can't imagine how much you really do miss it. I remember all of those placeswalking to nad from your house. For some reason aside from the canal I remember the brick wall pic most. What a beautiful memory and pictures it made my nose tingle.

I miss it for you! I have to admit that I'm sad that you don't live there anymore.. I loved seeing your adventures of a far away land.. It def. gives a mix to the mundane! :)

What are your plans now?

Welll that was really MY front door over here you took a picture of... but that's ok. ;) It's better to leave while you still love it, than to leave because you hate it!
