I'm no Anna Jones, but here's what I learned...

I don't have my own fancy camera, but I thought I better get out and take some pictures before I forget what Anna taught us at her Beginning Photo class. Anna is all about using only natural light. She taught us how to use Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO to get the best pictures without an unnatural flash. I LOVE playing with the aperture. The picture of Millie's stinky feet is my favorite of the bunch. I love that it's focused on her feet and that the rest of her is blurry. You can actually see the lint in between her toes and the dirt under her nails.

Okay mom, I'm done.

Oh, none of these have been edited in anyway and they were all taken with my father in laws Cannon at their house.

Thanks Anna for sharing your knowledge!

I really don't understand how you get a good picture. I can't seem to get cute ones of my boys. They are always smiling too cheesy or too big or turning away or ignoring me. Anyway, Millie's hair is getting so long. I love it!

i can tell a difference in the pics you have been taking lately. my sister is a photographer and she is all about the natural lighting as well - i love the look of both. but i think it takes more talent with natural light...? who is it that you are taking the class from? does she always do classes? i am hoping to get a new camera for christmas and from there start up with some lessons in photography.

I need to learn how to use my camera. It is 10 mega pixil canon and I can't do anything with it. Teach me.

Direct Buy...worth it if you are doing a lot of remodeling. We loved the tile discount. Furniture as well. I will email you.

And I love that you sis in law named her baby Linc!

Millie is such a big girl. Let's get together. I miss you.

Beautiful! even the stinky feet one. I think I need to take a class like this, and get a better camera, and remember to turn off my flash!
