"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAGER! I love you and miss you berry much".

Brady gave Millie two wafers and told her to bring one to me. She started walking over but abruptly stopped and turned around so I couldn't see her. I then hear a CrUnChing sound. She (a.k.a. The Rat) flips back around and hands me the wafer with the chunk out of it like it was no big deal. I said, "Um, Millie don't you think you should eat the one you took the bite out of and let me have the other one"? She said, "No mommy, dad said to give you that one, this one is mine, Sharing is Caring".
I was bored last night and decided to straighten Millie's hair. It was a little scary how happy she was to have her picture taken.
Our next stop in the Cotswolds was a little place called Stow-On-The-Wold. There was a lovely little church and I always adore an old grave yard. Weird I know.
This was my favorite picture of the day. It looks like it came right out of the Princess Bride or something. The door literally looked like it was growing out of the trees.
While Mill napped Brady and I enjoyed a spot of afternoon tea.
The cup fits his personality perfectly doesn't it.
So we come to the close of a lovely day and on the way home the BEAST let us down. We were stuck with a dead car and a dead cell phone with no working car lights. Brady would hail a car every 15 minutes to see if Eisha had found someone to come to our rescue. (Luckily we got the Swinton's number out of Brady's phone before it died!) A cute couple in our ward picked us up and we made it home sometime after midnight. The BEAST was left on the side of the road and will be sold as scrap. Thank you for the fun times while it lasted.
R.I.P.
Last weekend Brady and I decided to take a special trip to see some animals for Millie but it didn't turn out as planned. Not only was it raining like crazy but it was suppose to take 2 hours to get there and when we had already been driving for that long we hit Holiday traffic; Not Fun. We made a quick decision to ditch the animals and head to Salisbury instead. We went and saw their beautiful cathedral and wandered through the town. Millie napped in the car all the way home but when she woke up she asked where the animals were so we took her to the pet store and called it good. Aren't we great parents. We promise lions and wolfs and settle for rabbits in a cage. Oh well, she didn't seem to mind.
Eisha is home alone right now with her new baby boy, so we had them over for homemade chicken noodle soup. Millie couldn't have been happier to hold baby Thomas. She was so cute.
Brady and I still don't know where we will be settling after we leave Oxford in 5 weeks but we will be heading back to Utah at least for a visit. It's been really hard on me not knowing what is happening next but I know things will work out for the best. He has interviews lined up with a couple different companies and has sent out a ton of applications, including for a job in Bahrain. Yicks!
