ELISA WAS HERE

It's a big post, I was going to split it up but with my computer still being down I had to take advantage of Brady being home.
Elisa and I on top of Carfax tower.

It's rumored that C.S. Lewis got his idea for the Light Pole and Mr. Tupins (sp?) in "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe" one night after stumbling out of a pub and looking up at the door and then out at the single light that was on.
It's hard to see me, but I'm swinging on the pole.

Ya, that's one nice car!

Me at Christ Church Dining Hall

Elisa at Merton College (brady's college)
Elisa and Millie at the deer Meadows at Magdalen College
Thames River
Oxford Botanical Gardens
We headed to Statford Upon Avon and while Elisa went to the birthplace of Shakespeare, Millie and I went to a Butterfly Farm and on a River Boat tour.

Yesterday Brady watched Millie and Elisa and I went to London for a bike tour and to see Adele Preform. The bike tour was brilliant! I will never tour by foot through London again like the others suckers.

The guy in the picture with Elisa in the CFO of Apple! He said he knew of job opportunities in RUSSIA! Ya, I don't think so.

The Adele Concert was at the Sumerset House and it was awesome. Adele is only 19 and she is so talented! She stopped in the middle of one of her songs and explained that she didn't like the guy anymore and changed the end of the song. She really was so cute.

Thanks Elisa for taking me to the concert! It really was so sweet of you. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Thank you so much for coming to visit. Millie is already asking when you are going to come back.

Highlites of Elisa being here:

  • Brady yelling at her for not knowing the rules of Uno
  • Laughing
  • Me winning Uno every time we played
  • Millie sticking her hand in a urinal and licking her fingers
  • Laughing
  • Elisa telling us the story of a kid barfing on the bus on the way back from Cambridge
  • Watching Millie play with Elisa; they were so cute together
  • Lots of inside jokes
  • Meeting Silly people (when Elisa is around everybody wants to talk to you!)
  • London
  • Having one of my dearest friend in the world coming to visit
  • And of Course Laughing

So fun . . . She looks so amazing! I guess in Brady's words to Cody, "I guess she loves us more than you do!" I heard that you bought your plane tickets to come back to the states. I cannot wait to see you! love ya

O.k.. I have a total confession to make..
1. I'm a blog stalker..
2. I'm a friend of Ashlie's, and she told me about her friends living in England going to school, and to check out your blog, because I LOVE it there.
3. Ultra jealous that you live there.
4. I guess I'm not a total stranger after all. Turns out I met Brady and his friends like 5-6 years ago in St.George.. Small world after all right?
5. Anyways, thought I'd say hi, and let you know that I stop by sometimes to see your wonderful adventures.
And finally I hope this didn't creep ya out! :) ha ha

How fun to have your good friend visit. I love that Brady yelled at her for not knowing the rules of Uno. So impatient. :)
