a MileStone

Brady took his very last final at Oxford University today. I am so proud of my husband. He truly is an amazing man, husband, and dad. Every moment he wasn't studying he was playing with his little girl. Millie adores him more then anything and he her. I am so blessed to have a man as smart, funny, hardworking, loving, caring, giving, and HOT as my honey is. It really doesn't get any better.
I hope you know how much respect I have for you Brady. You take sight of what you want and you get it. Oxford was a dream for us at this time last year and here we are with the most amazing year of our life together behind us. Good Job Honey. Thanks to your hard work the possibilities for us are endless and I can't wait to find out what's next.

Oxford Fact:

It's tradition for the students to wear a red carnation on their subfusc to show that they have been bloody up by the past year. The first term they wear white to represent their virginity to Oxford testing, the 2nd term is pink, and the 3rd and final term is when the RED comes out.

We spent the night celebrating! Brady and I hit a movie and dinner, then met up with the boys at Turf for a drink..no worries, Brady isn't drinking beer, it belongs to the person taking the picture.

Millie playing while waiting for the bus. Thanks again to the Swintons for watching her!

She gets her flexibility from her grandma, really!

On the way home Brady taught Millie how to skip. Her and her daddy are too cute.

Salt Lake is on the HOT TAMALE TRAIN

I freaking love So You Think You Can Dance! I cried my eyes out watching the hip hop number To "Keep Bleeding" by Chelsie and Mark. Honestly I don't think a Hip Hop routine has ever made me cry before. Maybe it was close to home with how much Brady has been gone for school or maybe it's just that those two RoCk. WOW, I thought it was good. I just love the emotion that both of them show not only in their bodies but their faces as well. They are one of my favorite couples. My other favorite has to be Katee and Josh. I wasn't too crazy about either of them when the show first began, but they have stolen my heart. I can't wait to see what they do next week! Now I think I'll go watch those two dances again...

The Goodbyes Begin

Our knitting group said goodbye to Connie as Jodi will be moving to NYC next week and Danalisa will be visiting the states for the summer. I will always be grateful to Connie for acting in the shoes as my grandma while we have been here in Oxford. She is such an amazing woman. Connie is one of the most giving people I have ever met. Her life revolves around service. She truly is a walking example of the person I want to be when I am in my 80's. Nothing slows her down. I am blessed to have had her in my life and grateful that I still have the summer with her as my visit teaching companion.
Thank You Connie

Pizza Anyone

We had a little get together with the Merton Crew and their significant others this past week and It was fabulous. It's so crazy that the last time we did this was in October. We planned on doing one every term but time got the best of us. I'm just glad we were able to see everyone before they take off for the summer.
Thanks ya'll for taking the time out from studying for finals to drop by!
posted by amanda, not brady. not sure how that happened.

We had a terrific morning! I am a little sick of the park and our "normal" activities so we headed out for some good ol' fashion strawberry pickin. My friend Kristina came across it the other day and we were excited to go. The only problem was I thought the farm was a lot closer then it was and I didn't bring the stroller....

Look at this one

It's good enough to eat.

Owen thought so too!

He was so funny. He had this grouchy look on his face the whole time we were there. The minute he finished one he was yelling for another. I love the juice dripping of his chin.

This is the greatest place ever

After a hard morning of we picking we got some homemade FRESH strawberry ice cream. I think we might go back for more tomorrow.

West End

My awesome Husband took me to see Les Mis today. Our equally awesome friends the Swintons watched Millie for a total of 8 hours so we could go. Thanks Guys!
I LoVe Broadway..okay West End, same thing right, it's just in London instead of NYC. Anyway, the play was Fantastic and the music Splendid. I am starting to think I'm spoiled...

Us out Front

"No Officer we haven't been drinking"

So our tickets were SuPeR cheap for a show and I kept wondering what the catch was..well this was our view of the stage. We were definitely close enough and luckily we weren't seeing Wicked or something where there was a lot of action in the air. I'm afraid we would have been severely disappointed, but NO FEARS we didn't miss a thing.
Hurray for being cheap!

A little of what's been goin on...

Millie playing at the park in Abingdon. I Love water fun.

The blue section in the grass is where the water is. There are buttons all over the mat that shoot up different water sprinklers. Millie would push the button and then run away as fast as she could.

Running to dad.

Brady was invited to eat at HIGH table at Merton. It's really an honor like if Harry had been invited to eat with Dumbledore and the other Hogwarts professors. Haha..hope you liked my analogy.

I had the honor of babysitting Mr. Wryder the other day so Jodi and Tony could go out for the first time with out their little guy. He was so good. It's ridiculous how easy it is to forget how little babies are. I can't believe Millie was ever that size.

"Happy Birthday To Father's Day"-millie

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

A Wild Day

Millie and I went with the Newcomers Club to the Cotswold WildLife Park on Friday and it was SO much FUN. It was way better the then London Zoo! There were a ton of great animals in an awesome setting, a fabulous play ground, cute, cheap shops, and a terrific train ride to top it off.

These turtles were so cool. It seems like whenever you go to the zoo, the turtles are always hiding in their shells, but these babies were going to town on the grass and walking all around.

There were the cutest, little, baby camels running around.

Wish the stroller wasn't in the background; anyone know how to take it out?

Best Slide Ever! REalLy!

And the Sylvester Goes To...

Well, not Brady although his friend Tony did win for Most Likely to be CEO. I suppose I should explain what the Sylvester Awards are; near the end of every school year the Oxford MBA class nominate and vote for their classmates in a number of silly categories, like "Best Party Thrower". Everyone wears "funky" black tie attire to the award ceremony. Midway through the awards Tony and a few of his classmates performed renditions of "Damn it feels good to be a Gangster". Each "rapper" filled the blank with their chosen profession. Tony's section was "Damn it feels good to be a banker". It was pretty classic.

Gotta Love Gareth's hideous wig. Millie was so scared of him!

Millie's soccer partner, Noor and her boyfriend, Nicolas Cage...it looks like him right?!
