While We Are On Our Breaks...

Like always I am so behind on blogging that I am grouping all of our breaks between chemo rounds together. We LOVE when we get to be home as a family and try to make every minute worth while.

What we do while we are HOME!

We go to the zoo.

We head back to the hospital for the day to get a blood transfusion and a visit from Elliot.

Millie losses her front tooth!

We dress Austin up. Isn't he cute!

Back to the hospital for a hearing test, an echo, and EKG to prepare for transplant.

We go on road trips.

 We dance.

We sport our Cancer Fears Me gear.

Snuggle bunnies and play at Nana's House.

Swoop and his friends come to visit.

We snuggle ALOT!

Play with the neighbors.

Celebrate Easter.

Millie plays so hard she falls asleep under the table.

We jump on the trampoline.

Amazing things happen! My house was cleaned from top to bottom, freezer full of food, yard cleaned, flowers planted, house decorated, and a ton of fun goodies left to spoil us.

We wear our Miles For Millie shirts everywhere we go. I love the quote: Anyway we can for Millie Flamm.
Thank you Flamm Family for having them made and for getting them for our family. We love them!

Thank you again for all the support, love, and kindness that is constantly being sent our way. I am in awe of the love that has been shown to us and Millie specifically. Thank you for the calls, texts, emails, and for the meals that have been brought to us EVERY NIGHT we are in the hospital. Your generosity is endless.  Thank you!

My Treasures

We knew we didn't have much time left at home together as a family so during a break from the hospital we called up Kate Moss from Peekaboo Photography and she was extremely generous to squeeze us in on a Saturday morning.   I wasn't expecting to get a family picture done, but at the end she asked if we wanted a shot or two. Had I known I would have put some makeup on and Brady probably would have shaved, but I still think we are pretty dang cute.  My kids on the other hand are stunning.

Thank you Peekaboo

Miss Millie

After we found out that Millie relapsed, I wanted to get her pictures taken. Since we didn't have time before she was hospitalized one of our family friends who also happens to be an amazing photographer came in and snapped some shots of Millie. I am so grateful to have some of her before chemo took over. Thank you Mark from Pier23 Photography  for taking the time to come up to Millie's hospital room. Your work is stunning and we will treasure these always.

Thank you Pier23 for taking the time to do this for us and for capturing Millie. She was already receiving chemo treatments and on steroids, so getting Millie to be her silly self could not have been easy.
