Meeting the Utah Utes

We had the most amazing night! Jamie Whittingham (if you're a UTE fan you know that Jamie is Kyle Whittingham's wife (aka the Head Coach), Jamie set up a meeting with the cheerleaders, and Swoop before the game tonight. It was awesome! Millie was a little shy at first but once Swoop handed over his squirt gun she turned into her regular, mischievous, goofy, self.

Millie meeting Jamie (THANK YOU JAMIE and THANK YOU MELISSA)

The cheerleaders were so sweet to her, and even gave her a signed calendar. Millie was a bit overwhelmed and she just stared at them in awe, but after they left all she could talk about was how much fun it was to meet them, and how nice it was of that they let her hold their pom poms. Although she wasn't sure how to act around Swoop and the cheerleaders at first, as her parents, Brady and I could see how much she was loving it, and how special they made her feel. As Brady carried her to our setas, she said, "boy I'm a lucky girl"!

Millie, the squirt gun, and her new pal, Swoop!

A family friend of the Flamm family, Travis, who put us in touch with Jamie in the first place, also gave us his tickets for the night! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, TRAVIS! It was a night that we won't forget. I tear up just thinking about how much love went into making tonight special for Millie, and for us.

Swoop even brought Millie a SIGNED shirt. It's huge and it made her love it all the more. She wore it around like a dress at the game and insisted on wearing it to bed. "It's a nightgown mom".

I love these two.

One of my favorite parts of the night was being down right on the field when the players and Coach Whittingham came out. It was so fun to watch the fans going crazy.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

to everyone who took part in making this night possible for Millie, Brady, and I.

I know we don't know each other, but I just want you to know that I find your family's strength incredibly inspiring. I don't know that I'd have the inner reserves to deal with all that you have. God bless you, your family, and those beautiful children to many long years ahead of perfect health.
