Things this week have been going well. Danalisa and I headed into Cowley to take the kidos to the park and shop a little. It was fun to have a "normal" day like I would have in Utah; The park, lunch, and running errands. Although we were in an unfamiliar part of town it was some how familiar. Tuesday wasn't as great. It rained all day! I had so much to do and did nothing. Well I cleaned and stuff but I needed to go to the market and things. Who wants to go grocery shopping with a two year old in the rain when you walk everywhere you go?Not Me! Wednesday was the most beautiful day. Millie and I got out early and did the things I needed to do the day before. On our way home the sun was shining, the leaves were falling, and the air had that wonderful crisp feeling. I would have stayed out all afternoon if I hadn't had milk and chicken in the stroller. After Millie's nap we headed to our 1st Oxford Rugby game. It was pretty fun to watch. I have only seen one game before that. I was glad that Danalisa was with us! She played in college, so she explained what in the world was going on. Today is Thursday and it has been Grrrrreat! Millie has been so good all day. She hasn't thrown any major fits and got into the stoller without a battle all day. Miracles do happen. We headed to the park this morning, but all the toys were wet so we didn't stay long. Jodi brought her dog CocoLicious and Millie couldn't have been happier. We hit the farmers market and then "Krispy Kreme!"All in all it has been a pretty good week and Lindsay pointed out to me that I have offically been here for a month. Time flys!

Are these girls in your ward or just fellow wives of classmates? I am glad you are making friends so quickly, surely that makes you feel more at home.
None of them are in my ward. It helps a lot to have someone to call and hangout with even if your doing nothing. All of their husbands are in the MBA program with Brady. We met Danalisa/Steve by calling them out of the blue and seeing if they wanted to do lunch. We had heard through the grapevine that they had a little boy, so we thought it was worth a shot. Jodi's husband (Tony) is in Merton with Brady, so I met her that way. The other girls we hangout with at times live by Danalisa. It' s been nice!
Hey dorkus you posted on your own blog. Ok was that really Ron Weasley? Quit laughing! Please tell Amelia to stop growing so fast it will be awhile before we see her again and we don't want to miss a moment! I love seeing everything you all are doing and your friends. Today I am grateful for technology, so that I can talk to my sister. I love you guys
Ya! That's what you do, you respond to the posts! Silly Sister. I am also VERY grateful! It's pretty cool that we can stay so close although I live across the ocean. Oh; No, No it wasn't really Ron Weasley, but it sure looked like him.
Amanda, thanks for clearing that up. I actually thought it was Ron Weasley. (Yes, I'm mocking you)
I'M SO JEALOUS OF WHERE YOU LIVE. WE ARE IN VEGAS, BUT I KEEP TELLING MIKE IF WE ARE GOING TO LIVE AWAY FROM FAMILY LETS REALLY MOVE FAR AWAY. YOUR LITTLE GIRL IS DARLING.
I love this post! The pics are great! I didn't realize you had taken one of Ron Weasley...he plays Quidditch though, doesn't he? When will we go see a Quidditch game? haha
Hi ya! I found your blog through Cody and Michele. It's so fun to see all your pictures. It makes me miss good old Oxford. I'm glad things are going so well for you. Don't you just love the ward there? There are so many funny little things that I miss from there. You'll have to be sure to buy some hummus from either Tesco or Sainsburys . . . hands down, the best I've had. We always crave it now that we can't get it here. Have you found that finding canned pumpkin, chocolate chips and good peanut butter can be quite a challenge to find? I really do miss it over there. I'm so glad you have the chance for that experience. It may seem a bit rough right now, but I promise you, you will look back at your time there and be so glad you were able to do it. Wish Brady good luck with school . . . we know how demanding that can be. If you ever have any questions or just want to vent/giggle about funny stuff, feel free to email me cathjones3@hotmail.com.
Best Wishes to you all!
Are you up for visitors? (I'm sure you get asked that all the time). Is Danalisa your sister? I love that you go to the market. That's great.
so since you walk everywhere, even the grocery store. are you pretty much going there almost every day? because you can't bring alot of things home in the stroller... right?
also, how is your ward? are there very many young couples out there in your same situation... school, kids, etc.?
brady i can't help it i am just gulible or i like to say trusting. now shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!love you guys
Oh, Amanda, I'm so jelous! I love Great Brittian. Take in all the history and old stuff and places you can. No better time then now to see some of the world. Take a trip to Bath, England when you get a chance it is mine and JJ's favorite town, oh and jj says sherwood forest, stone henge, and stratford-apon-avon (my fav.) Start the weekend trips, and let us all see the awesome pics! I love your blog!
Hey I am very envious of this great experience you are having. It's almost as much fun as mine in Seattle. I wont trade but keep up the great blog. I think you just have to get used to doing stuff in the rain, not like Utah where we actually have a product called sunshine.
Jager! it was so fun to hear from you! How fun is your cute family. I bet you guys are loving it there. Keep in touch! =)
