Owie Wowie

My poor little one got her finger slammed in a door a few days ago. Millie just kept crying for her daddy and saying, "Owie Wowie". He was on an airplane so we couldn't get a hold of him, it broke her heart and mine. My mom and I took her straight to the doctor. She broke the tip and they burned a hole in the nail to drain the blood. She was put on an antibiotic and sent home. Millie has to wear a splint and she has been so good about it. I haven't heard her complained once. It does make her nervous when I change the bandage, but other then that she has been an extremely brave little one.

These pictures were taken 3 days later and nail is still oozing.

On a happier note, my niece Cyndell was in her 1st play, Beauty and The Beast. It was so fun to watch her up on stage. I was really impressed with all the kids, I thought they did a fantastic job.

NYC here we come!

Brady and I booked tickets to New York. I'm so excited! Neither of us have been before and we got a great deal on airfare. We're only going for a few days, but I can't wait.

"Time Out"

Millie has been such a stinker the last little while, so I decided to take Brady away for the weekend for a much needed TIME OUT. I struggle and I didn't take any pictures, but we went up to the Flamm cabin on the Brighton Ski Resort. It was so nice to have a night away from Millie even though Brady slept on the couch since he was keeping me awake coughing. We hit the slopes on Saturday and it was a gorgeous day. I LOVE the cabin. It's so nice to have a place to get warm and eat lunch without going to the dreaded ski lodge.

"I like to Move It, Move It"

Millie started taking dance class about 2 months ago and she LOVES it. They had a parents day, so my mom came to watch her in action. It's been fun having her take class, but it kills me how much money we have already put into it. The day we signed up we had to pay for their Spring costume, tuition, and a registration fee! Madness.

Okay, so she's been 3 since September but I never got these pictures up. One of my friends took them for me and I thought I'd throw them up since I can't find our camera cables in our unpacked boxes.

Good Crap

We FINALLY got our Internet hooked up today! HOORAY! I have a lot of post to catch up on with all of you and will hopefully get some blogging done myself.

Millie and I are both recovering from the flu, but other then that things are pretty dang good. I'll try to get some new pictures up soon.
