I'm not really feelin' the blogging spirit at the moment, but I thought I would at least put these pictures up.
My sister Lindsay threw the annual Jager Scone Party for New Years. We try to do it every year, but it doesn't always happen. This time we had it at a ward house and it was awesome. The kids loved being able to run around freely and the adults loved not having to worry about honey getting all over their furniture.

Sorry, no pictures of the delicious scones.

My mom made this darling, little, jammie dress and little man for Millie. She loves it! She calls it her "Princess Jammie Dress" and she now can't sleep without her Matching Man.

Thanks Mom.

The Brighton Cabin

Christmas night we made a last minute decision to drive up to the Flamm's cabin at Brighton Ski Resort. It wasn't the brightest thing we have ever done considering that there was a blizzard outside. Lucky we care-a-vanned up with Cody and Michele. We were about 5 minutes away from the resort and our car got completely stuck. We just kept spinning out. Both Brady and I were pretty freaked out, but we were about to side slide in the Solitude Ski Resort parking lot where we left our car for the night. We pack in the other car and still barely made it up. The snow was sooooo deep since the lot hadn't been plowed. It was an interesting hike up to the cabin from the car as well. Normally we have a snowmobile come pick us up, but the snow was too deep and the runs hadn't been groomed yet. With all our gear and MILLIE we finally made it to the cabin. although it was a sketchy night we were all grateful we had headed up the night before since the canyon was closed for part of the day and we had the resort basically to ourselves. It was an awesome was to end Christmas. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful oasis in the mountains.

Christmas Day!

Santa came! (don't worry all those presents aren't just for Millie).
Christmas was so fun this year. Millie was really into it and she was so thankful for all her new toys. It was so fun getting ready for the big day. After we opened our gifts we headed over to the Jager's house to have brunch and opened MORE presents. It's tradition in my family for us all to gather and open our stocking together. It's my favorite. I LOVE getting my stocking.

Christmas Eve with the Flamms

Brady, Millie, and I spent Christmas Eve with the Flamms. We had such a wonderful night. Nancy made a delicious dinner and then we opened our presents from each other. It was a loud, crazy night and we had a blast.

Family Night

For Monday Night Family Night we headed down with the Jager side of the fam to see the lights at Temple Square. It just isn't Christmas without seeing the lights. They are always stunning. I really missed not seeing them last year while we were in England. It's been fun being home and jumping back into old traditions.

Ellsworth Family Christmas Party

The Vaughn Family(Brady's Aunt and Uncle) held an awesome White Elephant Party this year. The food was fantastic and the company was even better. There were some funny gifts that were given and I'm sure they will show up again year after year.

Happy Christmas

Sweet Brady waited in line about 2 hours so Millie could see Santa. I have to admit I was nervous once we got up there she wouldn't have anything to do with him, but with a little coercing (CaNDy) we got her to sit by him long enough to take a picture.

Mmmmm, what should I ask for?

How about a
PINK kitchen,
PINK finger nail polish,
a PINK broom to sweep the snow off the steps,
a PINK necklace

and of course Horton Hears a Whoo

Santa trying to talk Millie into sitting on his lap.

as you can see he didn't have much luck...
